Heart-Pulse App Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fabled Foundry Interactive LLC collects, uses, shares, protects, retains, and deletes information in connection with the 'Heart-Pulse' mobile application and related services.


Heart-Pulse is the public-facing app name. Fabled Foundry Interactive LLC is the legal operator and privacy contact for the service.


Scope

This Privacy Policy applies when you use Heart-Pulse, including when you:

- create an account or sign in;

- create, preview, or edit a dating profile;

- upload profile photos;

- browse profiles, like, pass, Super Like, rewind, reveal, match, or chat;

- use optional reward features, daily diamonds, or light ads when enabled;

- purchase, restore, or manage subscriptions through supported app-store billing;

- use safety tools such as block, report, and account deletion request flows;

- contact us for support, legal questions, privacy questions, or deletion requests.


Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly, information generated by your use of the service, and information provided by service providers needed to operate Heart-Pulse.


Information you provide may include:

- email address and password or authentication information;

- profile details such as display name, birthdate, gender, preferences, city, bio, interests, lifestyle selections, and profile completion status;

- profile photos and related upload metadata;

- messages you send to matched users;

- reports, blocks, account deletion requests, support requests, and legal/privacy communications;

- optional purchase or restore-purchase actions handled through app-store billing providers.


Information collected automatically or from service operation may include:

- authentication/session events;

- app, device, diagnostic, notification, and security-related data;

- profile activity signals used for browse ranking, such as recent activity;

- likes, passes, Super Likes, matches, unmatches, deleted threads, rewinds, reveals, reward grants, reward balances, daily diamond claims, cooldown/cap records, and ad impression logs;

- subscription status and entitlement state validated through supported billing infrastructure;

- photo moderation events and review results.


How We Use Information

We may use information to:

- create and manage accounts;

- provide profile creation, browsing, matching, and chat;

- enforce profile completion and adult-only eligibility rules;

- store, review, approve, reject, and display profile photos;

- run likes, passes, Super Likes, rewinds, reveals, matches, unmatches, and chat;

- send account, like, match, message, reward, and streak-related notifications where enabled;

- process subscriptions, restore purchases, validate entitlements, and maintain plan state;

- operate optional rewarded ads, daily diamonds, light banner ads, reward caps, cooldowns, and fraud-prevention checks;

- moderate text and photos, detect abuse, rate-limit risky behavior, investigate reports, and enforce safety rules;

- troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and maintain service security;

- comply with legal, platform, tax, accounting, dispute, or regulatory obligations.


How We Share Information

We may share information:

- with other users as needed for the service, such as profile display, approved profile photos, matches, and chat messages between matched users;

- with infrastructure providers such as Supabase for authentication, database, storage, edge functions, and real-time services;

- with app-store and billing providers such as Google Play and RevenueCat for purchases, restore purchases, and entitlement validation;

- with advertising providers such as Google AdMob when ads or rewarded ads are enabled;

- with notification providers needed to deliver push notifications;

- with moderation or safety providers such as Google Cloud Vision when automated photo safety review is enabled;

- with legal advisors, regulators, courts, law enforcement, app stores, or service providers where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement;

- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or similar business transfer, subject to appropriate protections where required.


We do not state that we sell personal information for money unless and until the product actually does so.


Ads, Rewards, and Monetization

Heart-Pulse may include optional rewarded ads and limited standard banner ads. Rewarded ads are optional and are not required for basic messaging access.


When ads or rewards are enabled, we may log ad impressions, reward attempts, reward grants, cooldowns, daily caps, diamond balances, and related events to prevent duplicate rewards, support fraud prevention, and keep the product balanced.


Subscriptions are handled through supported app-store billing systems. Heart-Pulse validates subscription entitlements through a trusted backend path before persisting durable entitlement state.


Photos and Moderation

Heart-Pulse may review profile photos using automated tools, manual review, or both. Photos may be approved, rejected, hidden, or placed in pending review. Approved photos can be used for profile display and profile completion. Safety tools are not perfect and may miss or incorrectly flag content.


Safety and Chat

Heart-Pulse may provide block, report, text filtering, image review, rate limits, personal-information warnings, and other safety tools. These tools are intended to reduce risk but do not guarantee that all unsafe, offensive, fraudulent, or inappropriate behavior will be detected or prevented.


Users are responsible for their own interactions with others, including off-platform contact, meetings, and personal decisions.


Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

- provide and maintain the service;

- support account, profile, matching, chat, billing, rewards, ads, safety, and moderation features;

- comply with legal, accounting, tax, dispute, app-store, and platform obligations;

- prevent fraud, abuse, spam, unsafe conduct, or misuse;

- resolve support requests and enforce our Terms of Service.


Retention periods may vary by data type. Some data may be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, safety, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, backup integrity, payment processing, platform obligations, or enforcement.


Account Deletion

Signing out only removes the local session from your device. It does not delete your account, profile, messages, photos, matches, purchases, rewards, or stored records.


You can request account deletion in the Heart-Pulse app from Settings > Account deletion. When you request account deletion in the app:

- your profile is removed from browse immediately;

- you are signed out while the request is pending;

- deletion can take up to 30 days from the request date;

- If you sign in again before deletion is completed, Heart-Pulse treats that as a request to continue service and cancels the pending deletion request.


You can also request deletion outside the app through the website account deletion page. The website page should let users request deletion without requiring them to reinstall or open the app.


If you need help with deletion, email fabledfoundryinteractive@gmail.com from the email address connected to your Heart-Pulse account and include the subject line Heart-Pulse Account Deletion Request.


Your Choices

Depending on the current product build and applicable law, you may be able to:

- update your profile information in the app;

- upload or replace profile photos;

- manage notifications through Android settings;

- manage subscription settings through the app store;

- restore purchases in the app;

- block or report users;

- request account deletion in the app or through the website account deletion page;

- contact us about privacy requests.


Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No app, network, account system, storage system, moderation system, billing system, or communication system can be guaranteed to be completely secure or error-free.


Children

Heart-Pulse is intended only for adults 18 and older. Users who do not meet the minimum age requirement are not allowed to use the service.


Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the last-updated date and may provide additional notice where required.
